We spent another morning wandering around Krabi, exploring the outdoor markets and all the shops off the main street. However, everywhere we looked it seemed we could see injured tourists, mostly leg wounds, limping about and reminding us just how lucky we'd been two days ago.

Back at the airport the scene had calmed down somewhat, however the first aid stand was still there, and free water and other snacks were handed out. I even saw a box of flip- flops brought in to provide footwear to those who had even lost their sandals.

Our flight back to Bangkok was full, and all the major embassies had representatives waiting in baggage claim to help out their citizens. We found a taxi to take us off to Comfort Suites, one who wanted to take us somewhere else and then wanted more than the agreed upon price for the ride.
